KUSHAN: Huvishka, ca. 155-187 AD, AV dinar (7.97g), G-156.2 (same dies), ANS Kushan-723, diademed and crowned half-length bust left, with flames above right shoulder, holding mace and ankusa (elephant goad), clouds below, ÞAOhAHOÞAO O-OhÞKI KOÞANO // Skando-Komaro and Bizago standing facing, with heads nimbate and toward each other, tamgha between them, CKAN-DO KOM-AP-O BIZAGO, small scrape and filing mark on edge, extremely rare with only a few auction examples, XF

Judging by their depiction on the coinage of Huvishka (G-156, 157, and 298), Skanda-Kumara (Skando-Komaro) and Vishakha (Bizago) were separate war deities in the Kushan pantheon before fusing into a single deity by the Gupta period. Today, they are among the many names for Kartikeya, the Hindu god of war.
