ABBASID: Bugha, ca. 860s, AE fals (3.54g), NM, ND, A-338Q, also citing Musa b. 'Abd Allah as his subordinate officer, Syrian style, Very Fine, RR. Copper coins in the name of Bugha, together with his subordinate officer 'Abd Allah b. Dinar, are known from the mint of Sur (in the Tübingen collection), and it is conceivable that this is same Bugha and that Musa is the grandson of Dinar (Dinar is here a personal name, not a denomination). The name Dinar occurs on fulus of several Syrian copper mints in the mid 3rd/9th century, both on coins of himself, Dinar b. 'Abd Allah, and of his son, 'Abd Allah b. Dinar. This type appears to be unpublished.
