ALMORAVID: Badr, fl. 1146, AV dinar (4.14g), Nul, AH541, A-476F, H-—, also citing the last Almoravid dinar Ishaq b. 'Ali, who was executed towards the end of AH541, of the highest rarity and probably unique, excellent VF to EF, RRRR. Nul is more often Nul Lamta on the coins, as it was one of the centers of the Lamtuna Berber tribe. A certain Maymun b. Badr of the Lamtuna was governor of Qurtuba (Córdoba) during the late Almoravid period and for a few years thereafter (until about AH549). It is likely that Badr was not himself a member of the Almoravid family, but a local governor at Nul Lamta, perhaps the father of Maymun. Dinars of Nul Lamta are known dated 540 in the name of Ishaq b. 'Ali (without any governor), and 542, which is completely anonymous (Hazard-444), but no other example dated 541.
