ANCIENT GREECE: LOT of 41 coins, some silver, including Celtic (4 pcs: Durotriges, Carnutes, a Geto-Dacian AE, and a Gallic AR quinarius), Spain (Gades AE with Herakles, nice VF), Numidia (3 worn AE units of Massinissa), Italy [6: three of Syracuse including an AE drachm of Dionysios I, AEs of Alaisa and Kamarina, and an unpublished AR fraction (1.37g) of Neapolis with the same designs as AE unit SNG ANS 439, F-VF], Illyria (Dyrrachion AR drachm), Greece (5: Sikyon AR hemidrachm, Thasos AR hemiobol, and AEs of Larissa and Maroneia), and Black Sea (Istros trihemiobol, EF); various grades, quite a few VF with pleasing surfaces, almost all attributed on accompanying holders; plus a bag of 20 worn and unattributed bronzes of little value; retail value $800, lot of 41 pieces.
