ARAB-ARMENIAN: Muhammad, ca. 700, AR zuzun (drachm) (3.17g), A-F97, standard Arab-Sasanian style, with the name Muhammad in Pahlavi before the bust (MHMT), and the Arabic word waf ("full"), with pseudo mint resembling ShY (for Shiraz), pseudo-date illegible, F-VF, RR, ex Leu Numismatik Web Auction 10, Lot 1945. It has been suggested that Muhammad refers to Muhammad b. Marwan, the brother of the caliph 'Abd al-Malik b. Marwan, who was involved with the Umayyad conquest of Armenia circa 704/705.
