ARAB-BYZANTINE: Standing Caliph, ca. 692-697, AE fals (3.31g), Sinjar, A-3539S, Goodwin-208 (same reverse die, probably same obverse die), citing the caliph 'Abd al-Malik (685-705) // mint name to left, star to right; modest porosity, but not much wear and tear, VF, RRR. Sinjar was located about 60km south of Aleppo (Halab), just over halfway to Hama, and still on Google Maps.
