ARAB-BYZANTINE: Three Standing Figures, ca. 685-700, AE fals (2.59g), [Tabariya?], A-3512var, without any inscriptions, annulet to left, uncertain symbol to right, river symbol in exergue, with anchor above and nothing below the M, About Very Fine, RRR, from an American collection. The river symbol suggests that this type was produced at a different location, perhaps Dar'at (Daraa in Syria), where the river symbol frequently appears on post-reform Umayyad and some Abbasid fulus.
