ARAB-SASANIAN: Tegin, ca. 700-720, AE pashiz (0.76g), Zawul, year "two", A-48H, Gyselen-113, royal bust ¾ facing right / standard fire-altar flanked by two attendants, beautifully well-preserved example, bold Very Fine, RRR. Zawul is Zabulistan, now the province of Zabul in south-central Afghanistan, main city Qalat, northeast of Qandahar. This type is engraved the Pahlavi equivalent of "Tegin, his majesty, lord" to the right of the bust.
