ARAUCANIA AND PATAGONIA: Orélie-Antoine de Tounens, King, 1860-1878, AE 2 centavos, 1874, KM-X1, Lec-2, a splendid example with semi-prooflike fields and much original red luster! NGC graded MS64 BN. Orélie-Antoine de Tounens was a French lawyer, and adventurer, who assumed the title of King of Araucanía and Patagonia. This was a fantasy issue in the name of Nouvelle France (New France).
