FRIMONT / ÜBERGEBEN / DEN 9 JULI 1815, About Unc. Johann Maria Philipp Frimont, Count of Palota, Prince of Antrodoco (1759–1831) was an Austrian general. In 1815 he was commander-in-chief of the Austrian campaign in Italy. His army captured Grenoble on 9 July 1815, and his army penetrated France as far as Lyon, which was entered on 11 July 1815.
