AWADH: AR rupee (11.20g), Allahabad, AH1206 frozen year 26, KM-6.2, K&M—, in the name of Shah Alam II, 14-point star in obverse center, whiskered fish on reverse, 1 small testmark (not a British Indian issue, as suggested by Spengler in 1990), EF, RR, ex William F. Spengler Collection, SCWC/DL Plate Specimen. Allahabad was assigned to Awadh before AH1170, then restored as a Mughal mint from 1178-1187, then Awadh again until 1216, British Bengal Presidency mint 1216-1219 (1801-1803), then permanently closed. Kapoo & Master list AH1206 without the obverse star, which they first list for 1207.
