BENGAL PRESIDENCY: AR rupee (11.09g), Saharanpur, AH1219 year 46, KM-693, Stv-8.128., East India Company issue, in the name of Shah Alam II, vertical sprig left of regnal year, a pleasing lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS62. Saharanpur was ceded to the East India Company in 1803 from the Sindhia Marathas, and the mint was permanently closed in or shortly before September 1805. This type is listed under the Mughal Empire in the Standard Catalog of World Coins.
