BENGAL PRESIDENCY: AR rupee, "Murshidabad", year 19, KM-109, Stv-6.13. Prid-176., East India Company issue, struck at the Calcutta Mint in 1819 with frozen date and mint, a wonderful lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS64. The mark 'S' on the reverse may indicate George Saunders, Master of the Calcutta mint from 1816-1830 or to signify the new increased weight standard of the rupee.
