BHUTAN: AR 1/2 rupee (4.45g), ND (1790-1820), KM-1, an attractive nearly mint state example, very rare, PCGS graded AU58, ex K. Van den Cruyce Collection. VC-Type 401 - according to "The coinage of Bhutan up to the mid-20th century", obverse has the NDRA characters with a SA upper right. The reverse has no numeral '1' inside the CHA. Of this type Van den Cruyce found less then 15 pieces (including all major collections).
