BRITISH INDIA: Edward VII, 1901-1910, AR rupee, 1910(c), KM-508, original proof of type S&W-7.53, without the beveled edges that characterize the restrikes, PCGS graded Proof 61, RRRR. In the Baldwin's & St. James Auction 35 in June 2019, both an original and a restrike proof rupee dated 1909 were included, Lots 567 and 568, respectively. The difference is that the edge is sharp or nearly sharp on the original, but clearly beveled on the restrikes, which were produced 1947-1970. The difference can be seen on the enlarged images filed on CoinArchives. This piece matches Lot 567, the original, though dated 1910 instead of 1909.
