BRITISH INDIA: George V, 1910-1936, AV medal (46.50g), 1911-12, Pud-911.3.1, 44mm .625 gold medal (15 ct.) for the Exhibition of Old Bombay for the Coronation of George V and Queen Mary by Elkington and Co., raised medallion of the conjoined busts of King George V and Queen Mary just above the center of the medal,with a cartouche just below showing a scene of Bombay buildings and a shield at the bottom; two winged goddesses holding British and Indian flags flying just above medallion; and to the left and right, four scenes of Bombay // (ornament) / EXHIBITION OF OLD BOMBAY / TO COMMEMORATE / T.I.M. / KING GEORGE V / AND / QUEEN MARY'S / CORONATION VISIT / TO INDIA / 1911-1912 / (ornament) with hallmarks directly below, all within laurel wreath, lightly cleaned, small rim bump at 12:30, mirror surfaces, extremely attractive, plain edge, Unc, RRR (Puddester). There is only one other example on the search engines, a sale from 2021.
