BUKHARA: Gatfar, 7th/8th century, AE cash (1.38g), Zeno-183397 (this piece), and Zeno-1306 for more information, King's bust, with Hunnic crown // horse right, VF, RRR. Gatfar (Gathfar) was of the Hephthalites and established himself at Bukhara, probably in the 7th century. The attribution to Gatfar is tentative, but seems likely due to the form of the King's crown.
