BURMA: KINGDOMS: Tenasserim-Pegu: Anonymous, 17th/18th century, octagonal cast large tin coin (49.77g), VC-540.1.1 (same mold), 63mm, Tò (mythical antelope) facing right, without feathers on its legs and without holding something in its mouth // 3-line Burmese legend, with at least two additional characters not found on any forms of the legend indicated by Robinson (Van den Cruyce legend-B2.2), superb example of this rarity, XF, RRR. First published by van den Cruyce in 2023; this is the 4th example that has appeared in our auctions (previous Auctions 43, 47, and 49).
