BURMESE KINGDOMS: Kyaikkatha, AR unit (8.54g), ca. 9th century, Mahlo-60.1.2, Mitch-475-77, sankh shell (conch), opens to the right, border of pellets around // simplified srivatsa, swastika right, gorgeous example, lovely XF. While Mitchiner assigns this type to Syriam (Thanlyin), across the Bago River from Yangon, Mahlo suggests it is from Kyaikkatha (Kyaikto), some 50 miles to the northeast.
