BURMESE KINGDOMS: Minemaw, AR amulet (6.65g), ca. 10th century or later, Mahlo-, cf. Htun-231.3, 34mm, derived from Mahlo type 13, stylized bhadrapitra // srivatsa-like design with world pillar ("yupa") inside and 3 spirals to each side, holed twice, VF. The Minemaw types of the Shan Hilltops occur in many designs, mostly derived from earlier Burmese coins, and vary greatly in size. Nearly all are punched twice, presumably for decorative attachment.
