BURMESE KINGDOMS: Minemaw, AR amulet (8.28g), ca. 10th century or later, Mahlo-, cf. Htun-232, 35mm, derived from Mahlo type 58, rising sun with "eye" in double semi-circle, 6 rays above and below // angular srivatsa, ankusa to left, bhadrapitra to right, holed twice, VF. The Minemaw types of the Shan Hilltops occur in many designs, mostly derived from earlier Burmese coins, and vary greatly in size. Nearly all are punched twice, presumably for decorative attachment.
