BURMESE KINGDOMS: Tenasserim-Pegu: Anonymous, 17th/18th century, cast large tin coin (80.22g), VC-530, Robinson, 72mm; the mekkara (mythical fish) right, elegantly engraved // 3-line Burmese legend; some scratches in the obverse field (perhaps for some unknown purpose); this is the 7th example of this type we have handled, all sold in our auctions, choice EF, RRR. The type was unknown to Robinson, and was not published by Than Htun, as the 17th/18th century coinage of Tenasserim was not included in his valuable publication, "Auspicious Symbols and Ancient Coins of Myanmar", published in Yangon in 2007.
