CAMBODIA: Ang Duong, 1840-1860, billon ¼ tical (4 fuang) (5.76g), ND, KM-—, hamza bird left, pierced, Fine to VF, RR, ex J. Silvestre Collection. J. Silvestre was a French colonial administrator in Indochina and the author of The Coins and Medals of Annam published in the American Journal of Numismatics, Vol. 37, #3 in 1903. This type appears to be unpublished in the SCWC and by Howard Daniel. This is the largest and heaviest 'hamza' bird type we have yet encountered.
