IMPORTANT NOTE - The Buyer's Premium is now $20 per lot or 20% of the hammer price, whichever amount is greater. However, we have also reduced opening bids on lower value items to adjust for the new Buyer's Premium structure, so all-in costs are still very close to what they were in the past. This change in fee structure will allow us to continue to offer coins valued at less than $100 in addition to our higher value offerings. Contact us with any questions.
CENTRAL INDIA: LOT OF 32 copper coins, unpublished group, ca. 1st century AD, probably all from the same hoard, divided by the consignor into two groups, with group 1 more of less flat strikes and average about 0.6g (13 pcs), group 2 bulbous flans and average about 1.15g (16 pcs), both groups average VG to Fine condition and always poorly produced; and 3 later pieces with Pieper numbers (1st edition, 2013) (average F-VF); an interesting group; all with Todd's description; retail value $400, lot of 32 pieces, ex Ian Todd Collection.
