CEYLON: Keir, Dundas, & Co. AE 4½ pence (7.16g), ND (1866), Prid-52, 27mm bronze token for Keir, Dundas, & Co., Small Pass Mills, Colombo, ship at full sail left // "K D & Co" monogram, tiny obverse rim nick and small spot, some red, Choice EF. Pridmore states that the ship depicted is an East Indiaman three-masted ship of about 1,500 tons. Many of these were struck in brass and with a hole at the top. This piece has no hole and appears to be bronze.
