CHINA: AR sycee (35.25g), ca. mid- to late 19th century, Cribb-, 17 x 31mm, 1-tael Xiaobao ("small ingot") from the Tucaozi silver mine in Zhili Province, XF, ex Dr. Robert A. Rosenfeld Collection. The Tucaozi mine was located in the Rehe region of Zhili Province (today's Hebei) and began operation in Year 3 of Xian Feng (1852).
