IMPORTANT NOTE - The Buyer's Premium is now $20 per lot or 20% of the hammer price, whichever amount is greater. However, we have also reduced opening bids on lower value items to adjust for the new Buyer's Premium structure, so all-in costs are still very close to what they were in the past. This change in fee structure will allow us to continue to offer coins valued at less than $100 in addition to our higher value offerings. Contact us with any questions.
CHINA: Republic, SET of 3 bonds, year 30 (1941), Patriotic Aviation series, including 5, 10, and 50 dollars, all UNC and without creases or damages, set of 3 bonds. China issued Patriotic Aviation Bonds in 1941 to raise funds for new aircraft during the Second Sino-Japanese War.These bonds were issued in denominations of $5, $10, $50, and $100, likely targeting overseas Chinese. The bonds featured a Boeing P-26 aircraft, honoring the Chinese Air Force. The goal was to raise $50,000,000 to purchase new planes, although they only received eleven aircraft.
