CHITTAGONG: Vamar, ca. 1580-1586, AR tanka (10.11g), NM, AH983, G-B1018, Mitch-306var, al-sultan al-'adil divided in two lines atop obverse, wonderful strike, very clear date, Extremely Fine, RRR. Goron lists this type as #B1014, which is a repetation of an issue of Sikandar, probably just a typo for B1018. If the year AH983 is correct, then Vamar would have been in some control by 1575 or 1576. The date could conceivably be a "typo" for AH993, which fell completely within the AD date 1585.
