CIVIC COPPER: AE heavy falus (27.46g), Sa'ujbulagh, AH12(41), A-3258, Alaedini p.83, sunface within ornamental border // mint & date, struck at the 6-mithqal weight standard (about 27.6g), overstruck by a lion & sun type with the lion holding a sword, over what is likely a still earlier type, crude Fine, RR. During the AH1100s and 1200s, only Sa'ujbulagh struck regular fulus at the 6-mithqal standard. The 4-mithqal weight was the limit at all other mints, except for some presentation pieces not intended for circulation.
