CUBA:LOT of 20 silver Commemorative types for the 100th Anniversary of José Martí, all between EF to UNC condition, retail value $600, lot of 20 coins. Minted at Philadelphia and designed by Esteban Valderrama Peña. The obverse design is based upon the upper central portion of the Cuban coat of arms: Radiant sun rising over sea with key in foreground. Name of the country below, face value, technical data and motto above. The reverse has a portrait of José Martí, left, Cuban National Hero (1853-1895) with a five-pointed sparkling star near his face; circular legend describing commemorated event, dates on sides.
