Mitch-2012:591, 19mm bronze medalet, in the name of Maharaj Raj Saheb and issued to commemorate the coronation of the maharaja, left facing portrait of Mayurdhwaj Singh ji Maharaj with VS 1998 // coat of arms & crown with the Gujarati and English script mentioning state name, a wonderful lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS64 RB. Mayurdhwaj Singh ji Maharaj was an academic, politician, member of several distinguished academic bodies, and one of the last surviving rulers of the former princely states of the British Raj. He was also the last surviving knight of the Order of the Indian Empire and the last of either of the chivalric orders of the British Indian Empire.
