DURRANI: Humayun Shah, 1793, AR rupee (11.52g), Ahmadshahi (= Qandahar), AH1207, A-3105, KM-128, Zeno-112278, with the mint epithet ashraf al-bilad, "the most noble of cities"; some weakness of strike, VF, RR. Humayun was one of 23 sons of the previous ruler, Taimur Shah, several of whom competed for the throne. Humayun proclaimed his leadership in Qandahar, but was quickly defeated by his brother Shah Zaman, who had him blinded.
