FRANCE: AE medal (56.41g), ND (ca. 1924), 51mm bronze medal for the 1924 Olympics by Léon-Claude Mascaux, nude female dances left with veil // rose wreath around blank center, matte finish, wonderful contrast in obverse toning, BRONZE and triangle on edge, AU. This medal was part of a group competing at the 1924 Olympics in sculpture, for which Mascaux won a bronze medal. The dancer is said to be Isadora Duncan.
