RENAUT / ANNO JUBIL.XL-MDCCCCXII-AETAT.SUAE LXVIII in exergue // man plowing field behind two oxen with VESPER ADEST,SOLITO TAMEN / IMPIGER INSTAT ARATRO / UT VIGEAT CULTO CRAS SEGES / ORTA SOLO ("Though nightfall is at hand, he nonetheless drives vigorously his accustomed plow so that tomorrow a risen crop may flourish in the tilled soil") in rectangular cartouche below, BRONZE with triangle privy mark on edge, Choice Unc. Renaut died at the age of 78 in 1912.
