Anton Friedrich König (1756-1838) was a German medallist, sculptor, and engraver who worked in Breslau (Wroclaw) and Berlin. The legend on this medal leaves no doubt about his opinion on the execution of Louis XVI and likely served as a precaution to a German-speaking audience.
