NGC graded MS65 BR. Struck to commemorate the taking possession of the three cities of Berlin (Prussia), Warsaw (Poland), and Königsberg (East Prussia). After the fatal battle of Jena, Berlin was immediately occupied by Napoleon, and the city of Warsaw was entered and taken possession of by General Murat, with a division of the French army, and Marshal Soult with his division took possession of Königsberg, immediately after the battle of Friedland, where they found 20,000 wounded Russians and Prussians, several hundred thousand quintals of grain, and a vast quantity of warlike stores, with 160,000 muskets, said to have been sent from England.
