FRENCH INDIA: AR fanon, Pondichéry, 1731, KM-66, Lec-64, issue of the French East India Company for the city of Mahé, a pleasing lustrous mint state example, struck during the reign of Louis XV (1715-1774), PCGS graded MS62. Type KM-66 is without the letter P for Pondichery, struck from 1731-1737 and much rarer than KM-67, which was struck intermittently from 1738-1792.
