GERMANY: Third Reich, AR 5 reichsmark, Karlsruhe, 1933-G, KM-80, J-353, commemorating the 450th Anniversary of Martin Luther's Birth, a lovely lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS63, ex Almer H. Orr III Collection. Martin Luther was a German priest, theologian, author, hymnwriter, professor, and Augustinian friar. Luther was the seminal figure of the Protestant Reformation, and his theological beliefs form the basis of Lutheranism. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Western and Christian history. This item was originally produced by a regime which perpetrated crimes against humanity, war crimes, mass murder, and other acts of violence. Our firm does not endorse such activities and only offers this item as an artifact of history to further research and civil enlightenment.
