IMPORTANT NOTE - The Buyer's Premium is now $20 per lot or 20% of the hammer price, whichever amount is greater. However, we have also reduced opening bids on lower value items to adjust for the new Buyer's Premium structure, so all-in costs are still very close to what they were in the past. This change in fee structure will allow us to continue to offer coins valued at less than $100 in addition to our higher value offerings. Contact us with any questions.
GERMANY: Weimar Republic, AR 5 reichmark, 1930-J, KM-68, Y-70, Dav-972, J-343, commemorating the Flight of the Graf Zeppelin, a superb lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS65, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. Incorrecty labeled by PCGS as 1930-A.In 1929, the Graf Zeppelin, LZ-127, made a world flight, stopping at Friedrichshafen, Tokyo, and Los Angeles. Although the Graf was not the first aircraft to circle the globe, it took only 21 days, 7 hours, 34 minutes, a new record for round-the-world travel by any means.
