GHORID OF BAMIYAN: Shams al-Din Muhammad, 1163-1192, AE broad dirham (6.42g), Khuttalân, DM, A-F1803, with his name muhammad bin mas'ud below obverse, together with his titles above, bold mint name above the obverse field; only the final digit of the date is visible, which is either AH(58)7 or (58)9; about 15% flat, well-cleaned, unpublished, VF, RRR. This is the only reported coin of any of the Ghorids of Bamiyan struck at Khuttalan.
