The Napoli di Malvasia (Monemvasia) is a fortress at the Southernmost tip of the Peloponnese in Greece. Francesco Morosini had first tried to recapture the fortress in 1687, but it finally fell in 1690, under the command of Girolamo Corner, Provveditore Generale da Mar. Similar undamaged examples bring $4000-5000 in auctions.
