GWALIOR: SABALGARH:LOT of 6 silver rupees in the name of Shah Alam II: KM—: With axe only: AH(119)8 year 34 (2 pcs) (119)8 year 35, and 1199 year 3x; and with axe & spear, AH(119)8 year 36, and (119)9 year 36; nearly all EF condition, retail value $300, lot of 6 pieces, ex Paul Stevens Collection. Attribution to Sabalgarh is tentative. See the article by Shailendra Bhandare in JONS, volume 198 (winter 2009). The mint name itself reads either falus or filusa, the latter perhaps a reference to Jean Baptiste Filose, who conquered Sabalgarh for Gwalior in 1810. The meaning of the dates & regnal years is conjectural.
