HEPHTHALITE: Palyab, probably 6th/7th century, AE drachm (2.81g), G-—, horseman galloping right, holding lance, Brahmi text behind, animal (lion?) to the right, about to be speared with the lance, without any tamgha, uniface, apparently unpublished, choice VF, RRR. The horseman is probably the ruler, said to be named Palyab or something similar, wearing the trident crown as found on Göbl-225/226.
