HONG KONG: AR medal (14.75g), 36mm, University of Hong Kong silver medal with SAPIENTIA ET VIRTUS, the schools Latin motto below the crest, with the Chinese motto, míng dé gé wù, engraved on the open book, uniface with loop for hanging.

The University of Hong Kongwas founded in 1911. The Chinese motto on the University's crest is taken from the Confucian classic The Great Learning and refers to moral and intellectual enrichment of human lives. The Latin motto, Sapientia et Virtus, aptly translates as wisdom and virtue.
