HUNNIC TRIBES: Anonymous, dates unknown, AR unit (2.65g), Zeno-352326 (this piece), see also Zeno-279809 for further information, bearded bust right, wearing winged crown with korymbos, symbol (sometimes identified as ankus) and tamgha to right // three-line Bactrian legend, with 3 additional symbols below; one of two known examples (the other is Zeno-279809 that weighs only 1.33g), VF, RRRR. Nicholas Sims-Williams has suggested (on Zeno-279809) that this example should be classified under the Western Turk Yabghus and may include a name like Vasu or Uvasu for the ruler. He has also suggested should be numerals for the date of 494 in the Bactrian era, which would be approximately 716 AD, but that is very tentative.
