ILKHAN: Anushiravan, 1344-1356, AR 2 dirhams (1.35g), Iravan (Yerevan), AH747, A-2263, type C; bold mint & date; one of the earliest known coins bearing the name Iravan, lustrous AU, RRR. This is oldest date on any coin filed on CoinArchives, the same type but only VF condition, sold in our Auction 37, lot 706. The second one is dated 748, type D2, sold in our Auction 18, lot 714. The gold dinar of Abu Sa'id on CoinArchives, dated Khani 33, is of the scarce mint of Isfarayin in Khorasan, not Iravan.
