ILKHAN: Sati Beg, 1338-1339, AR 2 dirhams (1.46g), Arzan, DM, A-2231var, very rare mint in eastern Anatolia, struck to a reduced standard, off center strike, VF, RR, ex Christian Rasmussen Collection. Arzan was the only mint to continue struck double dirhams in the name of Sati Beg after 740, first following the 2.16g official standard in 739, then about 1.80 towards the end of 739 and 740, finally to a local standard of about 1.53g from 741 to 743, always in the name of Sati Beg.
