ILKHAN: Sulayman, 1339-1346, AR 6 dirhams (3.81g), Isfahan, AH(743), A-I2260.1, very rare local type JA (quatrefoil / pointed hexafoil), known only dated AH743 (two specimens in the Tübingen collection, 3.83g & 3.91g), some weakness around the rim, VF, RR. From the few specimens with known weight, this type was struck to a reduced local standard, presumably 22 nokhod (3.96g), rather than the full mithqal weight of 4.32g as described in the 3rd edition of the Checklist of Islamic Coins.
