IMRANIDS: Muhadhdhab al-Dawla, 987-1018, AR dirham (2.79g), al-Saliq, AH390, A-1587, citing the Buwayhid overlord Bahâ al-Dawla, but without the official Nasir al-Dawla Abu Dulaf, who is cited on all dirhams of Muhadhdhab al-Dawla struck at al-Basra; mount removed, bold strike, first known coin of al-Saliq dated AH390 (only 385 reported until now), unique, EF, RRRR. Al-Saliq was a small town along or near the Tigris River, used only as a mint by the 'Imranids when forced out of al-Basra.
