INDIAN SULTANATES:LOT of 31 coins, nearly all identified by Goron numbers: Ahmadnagar: 4 copper coins of 4 different rulers, including the rare issue of Murtada I, Goron-N2, dated AH992 (VG); Baglana: 1 silver coin, KM-72.1; Bidar: G-BD8 of Amir Barid Shah III (VG); Bijapur: 7 copper coins of 4 different rulers; Cooch Behar: 2 silver coins of Nara Narayan & Upendra Narayan, both choice VF; Golkonda: 4 copper coins of 4 different rulers, including the rare issues of Subhan Quli and Muhammad Quli (both Fine); Madura: 5 copper coins of 5 different rulers, including the rare issue of Sikandar Shah dated AH777, and all in lovely VF condition; and Jaunpur: 2 billon & 5 copper coins, including the rare copper issue in the name of Barbak Shah Lodi (G-J34, VF); mostly better than average circulated grades; all in holders identified by the consignor; retail value $750, lot of 31 pieces.
